May 5- anticipation guide and block party

We did a lot of group work today, so it will be difficult to make up everything if you missed class.

But here is what we worked on:

Directions:  Before we begin reading Monster by Walter Dean Myers, fill out this anticipation guide.  These statements are to help you start thinking about some of the issues expressed in the novel.  Read each statement and write TRUE or FALSE on the line.  Afterwards, explain your reasoning.  Think about each statement before answering.  You will be graded based on completion and thought.
